As an active person I enjoy mountain biking, walking and practicing the Japanese martail art of Aikido. This is a competitive art form and I have participated in a national championship. Having assisted with the teaching of both adults and children for the last four years, I have recently open a club with two fellow aikidoka.
For relaxation I enjoy reading science fiction/fantasy and popular science books. Socialising and meeting people is also an important part of my life, and I often participate in and organise activities such as beach trips, movie outings, picnics and nights out.
I am a hardworking dedicated individual with a good sense of humour. My people skills are good and I have a natural ability to adapt quickly and confidently to different situations. As an individual or as part of a team I enjoy both complicated challenges and simple day to day tasks.
